BEN GARRETT
Ben lives in Ogden, UT where he, his wife, and baby boy attend Refuge Church - where he also serves as a deacon. He unironically calls Ogden the city of his dreams, and he’ll stand by that too. In fact, he’ll double down. By day he is a mechanical engineer who works for a contracting company doing stress analysis for the A-10; by night, he is … usually hanging with the fam, wood working (the other side hustle), or reading. By early in the morning time though, he is a podcaster with his good pal Stu. Ben enjoys God’s creation via rock climbing, touring the inheritance as he calls it. He also loves long, deep conversations over a nice glass of whiskey - bourbon, scotch, whatever … he’s not picky - or rum. He hopes by the time you read this he has way more than one baby boy, Lord -- willing.
STUART KAHLER
Originally hailing from the seemingly unremarkable state of Missouri, Stuart, or as most everyone calls him, Stu, lives in the frontier town of Ogden, UT. Growing up on a farm he became quite acquainted with country life - home cooked meals, exploring the woods, hunting and fishing, tinkering with everything, and using the world as his bathroom. Now being in the "big city", he's understandably become more cultured...and civilized.
Stu is married to his best friend Morgan. Together they share a baby girl, Cleo. They love to get outside and explore the Wasatch, walk the dog, take the baby for a stroll, garden, bee keep, and tend to their chickens (they've got quite the urban farm). Stu thoroughly enjoys a good cup of coffee or cold glass of beer and of course, Costco pizza.
By trade Stu is an risk management consultant for a commercial insurance carrier. All of his time in between he's a follower of Christ, a husband, and a father (and podcaster with his pal Ben). He also serves as a member and deacon at Refuge Church. Lord willing, he and Morgan hope to continue to grow their family.
